Portraits

In common with the rest of my photography, I shoot portraits in available light with a small handheld camera. I hope to capture something about the subject by showing the way they relate to their environment, and they way they relate to other people.

It's a very informal process but usually takes a little longer than the average studio shoot. Since it works best when the subject is occupied with something else, or in conversation, the time soon flies by.
