About me

I use film
I don’t crop
I don’t airbrush or manipulate my pictures
I work in a particular way. I like to keep the process of taking pictures as simple as possible so I can concentrate on the important things – the pictures themselves.

Valencia, September 2002
All the pictures you see here on my website were shot with the same camera and the same 50mm lens. Whether I’m dodging charging bulls, wandering through an ancient city, or crouching in a minefield – the camera set-up remains the same.

Bratislava, November 2003
It gives me a nice constant window through which to view the world, and means there is a continuity to my work. I call it The Constant Eye.
All I’m trying to achieve each and every time I press the shutter button is a certain beauty, a balance in the picture – whatever the subject matter.
